You Wouldn't Know It Wasn't A Real Bread Bun
Delicious low carb hamburgers are back on the menu with this amazing hamburger bun recipe.
No super kitchen skills required here, these buns are so easy to make.
The ingredients are common to most low carb recipes so the chances are you already have them in your kitchen.
There is some flexibility in the size of the buns you can make with this keto recipe. The recipe is ideal for 5 average sized hamburger buns, but you could make more smaller buns or some extra large buns. you just need to adjust the baking time to suit.

Ingredients:
3/4 cup Almond Flour or Almond Meal (75g / 2.7oz)
1/4 cup Coconut Flour (30g / 1.05oz)
1/4 cup Flax seed Meal (37g / 1.3oz)
1/6 cup Psyllium Husk Powder (20g / 0.7oz)
1 tsp Baking Powder (5g / 0.18oz)
1 tsp Onion Powder (2.5g / 0.09oz)
Salt to taste (or 1/2 teaspoon)
Untoasted Sesame seeds to sprinkle on Buns
3 Egg Whites (do not substitute with liquid egg whites in a carton)
1 Whole Egg
1 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar (5ml / 0.18oz)
1 Cup Lukewarm Water (235ml / 8oz)
Mix the ingredients well.
Shape into 5 hamburger bun shapes on a cookie sheet.
Press in the sesame seed topping on the batter.
Bake a 350°F for 50 min.

Net Carbs: 2.2g (11g total carbs – 8.8g fibre)
Protein: 7.8g
